ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Extraposition

Extraposition is when we move parts of a sentence to the end to make it easier to understand. Let's say you have a really long sentence that makes your brain hurt! You might want to use extraposition to make it easier to understand.

For example, instead of saying "I love the cake that my mom made," you could say "The cake that my mom made, I love." This makes it easier to understand because now you know right away that I love the cake.

Basically, extraposition is like moving puzzle pieces around to make the puzzle easier to solve. It helps us understand sentences better!
