Extreme points of Poland

Okay kiddo, imagine a big coloring book that looks like Poland. This coloring book has lots of different regions with different colors. These colors tell us something about the land, like how high the mountains are or how flat the plains are.

Now, let's imagine that we have a big magnifying glass. We can use it to look really closely at the edges of these regions. This is where we might find what adults call "extreme points".

Extreme points are just the places where one color meets another color, but in a really extreme way. For example, imagine a mountain that suddenly drops off into a deep valley. That's an extreme point because the change is so sudden and dramatic.

In Poland, there are four extreme points. The first extreme point is the northernmost point, which is called Cape Rozewie and is where the land meets the sea. The second extreme point is the easternmost point, which is called Pieniężno and is where Poland meets Russia. The third extreme point is the southernmost point, which is called Opołonek and is where Poland meets Slovakia. And finally, the westernmost point is called the Oder Lagoon, and it's where Poland meets Germany.

So there you have it, kiddo! Extreme points are just where one thing meets another thing in a really cool and extreme way. And in Poland, there are four extreme points that are all very important because they mark where Poland meets other countries or the sea.
