ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Ezekiel 3

Ezekiel 3 is a chapter in a book called the Bible, which tells stories and teaches lessons about life and God. In this chapter, a man named Ezekiel is talking to God and God tells him to go and speak to people who have forgotten about Him.

But Ezekiel is afraid because the people might not listen to him or might even be mean to him. God then tells Ezekiel that he must be brave and speak the message that God tells him to speak.

God also tells Ezekiel that even if the people don't listen to him, Ezekiel still has to speak to them, because it's important for them to hear the message. It's like when your mom tells you to eat your vegetables even if you don't like them, because they're good for you.

Ezekiel also has to be careful not to be stubborn or rebellious, because that would be like saying no to God. Instead, he has to be a good listener to God and follow His instructions.

In the end, Ezekiel goes and speaks to the people, even though it's scary. He tells them what God wants them to hear and reminds them to remember Him. This teaches us that even when things are scary or hard, it's important to be brave and follow what is right.
