ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

FCBSHIGH (CONFIG.SYS directive)

FCBSHIGH is a special code word that tells a computer how to control a part of the computer called the FCBS. Think of the FCBS as a backpack that holds all the important information that your computer needs to do its job. The code word FCBSHIGH helps your computer make sure that the backpack is in the right place in the computer's brain.

When you turn on your computer, it reads a special file called CONFIG.SYS to help it know what to do. If the CONFIG.SYS file has the code word FCBSHIGH in it, it is telling the computer to make sure the backpack (FCBS) is in a special high memory location where it won't get in the way of the computer doing other things.

This is important because if the backpack (FCBS) is in the wrong place, your computer might not be able to do things like read and write files, which could cause it to crash or not work as well. The FCBSHIGH code word helps your computer make sure everything is where it should be so it can work properly.
