ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Face time

FaceTime is a way for you to see and talk to someone else who is far away. It's like a telephone call, but instead of just hearing the other person's voice, you can see their face too!

Imagine if you and your friend were playing hide-and-seek in different rooms. You could shout to each other to say where you are, but it would be even better if you could see each other too. That's what FaceTime is like!

To use FaceTime, you need a special device like an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. You also need to have internet connection, like Wi-Fi or cellular data. Then, you can open the FaceTime app on your device, choose who you want to call, and start chatting away!

It's important to remember to always ask your parents or a grown-up before using FaceTime, just like you would when making any other call. And make sure you only call people you know and trust, just like you would with playing hide-and-seek!
