Fairy cup legend

Once upon a time, there was a story about tiny, magical creatures called fairies who loved to drink nectar from flowers. They often had trouble finding a cup to drink from since most cups were too big for their tiny hands.

One day, the fairy queen called all the fairies together and held a contest to find the best fairy cup. Every fairy had to find or make a cup that was just the right size for fairy hands and that would hold enough nectar for a satisfying drink.

After much searching and creativity, a few fairies came up with unique cups. One fairy made a cup out of a flower petal, while another used a teacup with a broken handle. Others fashioned cups out of acorn caps or snail shells.

The queen tasted from each of the cups and declared that the winner was the fairy who had made a cup out of a dewdrop on a leaf. The other fairies were amazed, and soon all the fairies were making cups from dewdrops.

Since then, the legend of the fairy cup has spread, and it is said that if you leave a cup filled with water outside your door, a fairy may come to drink from it in the night. So, if you ever see a tiny, magical creature sipping from a cup outside your door, you'll know that it's a fairy enjoying a much-needed drink from their very own fairy cup.
