Fairy ring

A fairy ring is a circle of mushrooms that grows in the grass. It's called a fairy ring because some people believe that fairies dance around inside the circle at night. The mushrooms grow in a circle because they are feeding on something in the soil, like dead plants or tree roots.

The fairy ring can grow bigger and bigger over time because the mushrooms keep spreading outwards. Sometimes, the grass will turn yellow or brown inside the circle because the mushrooms are using up all the nutrients in the soil.

While fairy rings might seem magical, it's important to remember that some mushrooms can be poisonous if you eat them. It's best to just admire fairy rings from afar and not touch any of the mushrooms.
