Family tree of the British royal family

The British royal family is like a big family tree, just like the ones your parents might make that show all your family members. The family is headed by the Queen, who is the boss of the family. She has four children - Prince Charles, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew, and Prince Edward. These children are the Queen's kids and are known as "The Queen's own."

Prince Charles is the oldest and is next in line to become King after Queen Elizabeth II. He has two sons - Prince William and Prince Harry. These two boys are known as "The Duke of Cambridge" and "The Duke of Sussex" respectively. They both have their own families now, with Prince William being married to Kate Middleton and having three children together - Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. Prince Harry married Meghan Markle and they recently had a son named Archie.

Princess Anne is the Queen's only daughter and has two children - Peter Phillips and Zara Tindall. They have their own families too - Peter has two daughters and Zara has two daughters.

Prince Andrew is the Queen's third child and he has two daughters - Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie. They are not as well-known as some of the other family members, but they still count as part of the royal family.

Prince Edward is the Queen's youngest child and has two children - Lady Louise Windsor and James, Viscount Severn. They are also not as well-known as some of the other family members because they live a more private life.

So there you have it! The British royal family is a big family with many different branches, just like your own family tree. They all have different roles and responsibilities but they all fit together to make up the royal family.
