Fanfare

Fanfare is when people make really loud and exciting sounds to celebrate something or someone special. It's like when you blow a party horn really loudly or bang some drums to cheer for a winning team or a famous person. Imagine you just won a big race and your friends and family start clapping, cheering and making lots of noise with their instruments or voices - that's a fanfare! It's a way of showing how proud and happy we are for someone or something great.
