ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Fascism in North America

Fascism is a kind of political system where one person, or a small group of people, have all the power and control over everything. It's like if your teacher made all the rules for your class and nobody else got a say. It's not a nice way to live because you don't get to have a say in how things are done.

In North America, there have been some groups that support fascist ideas, which means they believe in having one person or group in charge of everything. These groups are often very exclusive and don't believe in being kind to people who are different from them. They may say things that are mean or hurtful to people who look different or come from different places.

But, it's important to remember that most people don't support fascism. In fact, it's very dangerous and can lead to a lot of harm for people who are different or who don't agree with the people in power. It's always good to be kind and open-minded to others, no matter where they come from or what they look like.
