Fates

Fates are like magical ladies who decide what will happen in someone's life. There are three of them: Clotho, Lachesis, and Atropos.

Clotho is the youngest and she spins a thread, like a long piece of string, that represents a person's life. She decides when a person will be born and what they will be like when they're born.

Lachesis is the middle sister and she measures the thread to figure out how long someone's life will be. She decides if someone will live a long life or a short life.

Atropos is the oldest sister and she cuts the thread with a pair of scissors when it's time for someone to die. She's the one who chooses when someone's time is up and they have to go to heaven.

Together, these three sisters work together to determine the fate of a person's life. They determine when they're born, how long they live, and when they die. It's like they have magical powers to control everything in someone's life!
