Federation of Jewish Communities of the CIS

Okay kiddo, so you know how there are lots of different groups of people all around the world? Well, the Federation of Jewish Communities of the CIS is a group that brings together Jewish people who live in several countries in a part of the world called the CIS.

Now, CIS stands for Commonwealth of Independent States. This is a group of countries that used to be part of the Soviet Union. When the Soviet Union broke up, CIS was formed.

The Federation of Jewish Communities helps Jewish people in the CIS connect with each other and practice their religion together. They also work to promote Jewish education and culture, and to help Jewish people who might need support or help.

So, it's like a big family that brings together Jewish people in several countries to support each other, share their traditions, and be there for each other.
