Fellfield

A fellfield is a type of environment where there is a lot of rocky terrain and few plants. So if you go to a fellfield, it might feel like you are walking on a lot of rocks and not see very many trees or grass. That's because the soil in a fellfield is not very good for growing plants, so only a few tough plants can survive. Because there aren't many plants, you might also notice that there are not a lot of animals around in a fellfield. But some animals, like mountain goats, are really good at surviving in this kind of environment. So even though a fellfield might not look very friendly, it is still an important part of nature and all of the animals and plants that live there are very special!
