Female foeticide in India

Female foeticide is a serious problem in India. It means that pregnant women are killing their unborn female babies. People do this because in some cultures, people believe that having a son is more important than having a daughter. So, some pregnant women use special medicine to make sure that their baby is a boy and not a girl. This is wrong and it is illegal in India. People should not do this because all girls and boys are equal and should be treated equally.
