evolutionary genetics
Evolutionary genetics is the study of how living things change over time. It looks at how different genes in living things can be passed down from one generation to the next. It also looks at how different forces like the environment can cause these genes to change. Scientists use evolutionary genetics to figure out how different species have changed over time and how they might continue to change in the future.
