Fermat Prize

The Fermat Prize is a prize that is given out once every four years to people who have made new discoveries or created important new ideas in mathematics. The prize is named after the famous mathematician, Pierre de Fermat. To win the prize, you have to have made a really big, important discovery that other mathematicians think is really important. Even then, a lot of people might enter for the prize, but only one will win it!
