Fermat's principle

Fermat's Principle is a theory that says that the path light takes when it moves in between two points will take the quickest way. Imagine you wanted to go from your house to the park, you will take the shortest route - which is the quickest way. Light behaves the same way and it always takes the quickest way when it moves from one place to another.
