Festive ecology

Festive ecology is all about taking care of nature when we celebrate special occasions like birthdays, holidays, and festivals. Just like we need to take care of ourselves and our friends, we also need to take care of our planet.

Imagine if we had a big party with lots of balloons and decorations made of plastic that we threw away after the party. That would not be very nice to nature because those decorations would stay in the environment for a long time and could hurt animals or pollute water.

Festive ecology teaches us to celebrate in a way that doesn't harm the environment. For example, instead of using plastic decorations, we can use natural materials like flowers, leaves, and branches. We can also make decorations out of paper, but we need to make sure to recycle them afterward.

It's also important to think about how we use energy during celebrations. If we leave lights and electronics on all the time, we are using extra energy that could hurt the environment. We can conserve energy by turning things off when we're not using them and using low-energy bulbs.
