ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Fetal farming

Fetal farming is a process where doctors take eggs and sperm from two people and make a baby (called an embryo) in a lab. Then, the embryo is grown in a special container in a lab until it is old enough to be born. The baby is then delivered and raised just like any other baby. Growing babies like this in the lab is sometimes called "farming" because it is like taking care of a crop or farm animals.
