ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Fibrifold notation

Okay kiddo, imagine we have a big sheet of paper. We can fold it in different ways to make different shapes, right?

Well, in math and science, we study something called "fibrations." That's just a big word for a way of folding a sheet of paper in a special way.

And we use "fibrifold notation" to describe how we fold the paper. It's like giving the folding instructions to someone else so they can make the same shape.

So you can think of it like making origami, but instead of making a bird or a frog, we're making complicated mathematical shapes by folding the paper in certain ways using fibrifold notation. Cool, huh?
