ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Financial roadshows

Okay, so sometimes when big important companies want to get people to invest in them and give them money, they go on a trip called a financial roadshow!

Think of it like going on a big adventure to tell people about all the cool things your company does and why they should give you their money.

During a financial roadshow, the company goes to different places all around the world to meet with lots of different people who might be interested in investing. They might meet with other important business people, like bankers and investors, to tell them about their company and answer their questions.

The company might give presentations to show off all the cool things they're doing and explain how they're going to use the money that people invest in them. They might also have fancy meals and parties to make everyone feel happy and excited about investing with them!

In the end, the company hopes that all these fancy trips will help them get the money they need to keep doing cool things and growing their business. And everyone who invests with them gets to be part of their adventure!
