Fire whirl

Imagine you are standing near a really big fire. The flames are hot and bright, and they reach high up into the sky. Suddenly, you see something strange happening. The flames start to spin around and around like a whirlpool in the ocean. This spinning flame is called a fire whirl.

Fire whirls happen when a fire sucks in air from around it, due to the heat. If this air starts to spin around the fire, it can create a fire whirl. The spinning motion can make the fire hotter and stronger, and it can even lift things up into the air.

Fire whirls are dangerous because they can make fires spread more quickly and cause more damage. They can also be hard to control and put out. It's important to stay away from fire whirls and always listen to firefighters or other experts who know how to keep us safe.
