Firecracker

A firecracker is a type of small explosive device that makes a loud popping noise when ignited. It's like a tiny little explosive that goes "pop!"

Firecrackers are usually made of a small cardboard tube filled with gunpowder and a fuse sticking out of one end. When the fuse is lit, it burns down and ignites the gunpowder inside the tube. This creates a lot of pressure and gas, which explodes out of the tube and creates the loud popping sound.

People often use firecrackers for celebrations like the 4th of July or New Year's Eve. They light them up and throw them on the ground or into the air to make a big noise and add to the excitement of their celebration.

It's important to remember that firecrackers can be dangerous if not used properly. Children should always be supervised by a responsible adult when using firecrackers and should never hold them in their hands or point them at another person or animal. It's always better to be safe than sorry!
