First Czechoslovak Republic
Once upon a time, a long time ago, there was a country called Czechoslovakia. It was made up of two parts - Czech and Slovakia - like how your body has two arms. It was created after a big war called World War I ended in 1918.
The First Czechoslovak Republic was a fancy name for when the country first started. It was like learning to walk for the first time. The leaders of Czechoslovakia wanted their country to be really good, like how your mom and dad want you to do well in school. So they made some rules to try and make everyone happy.
But it wasn't always easy. Some people wanted different things, like maybe one person wanted to eat pizza while another person wanted to eat spaghetti. Some people also didn't like each other, like when you don't get along with your brother or sister.
