First Vision

So, a long time ago, there was a man named Joseph Smith who was very curious about God and wanted to know more about Him. One day, he went into the woods to pray and he asked God which church he should join. As he was praying, he saw a bright light and God and Jesus Christ appeared to him. They talked to him and told him to start the church that Jesus Christ had established when He was on the Earth. This was called the First Vision. It was a very special moment for Joseph Smith and it helped him understand more about God and what he should do with his life.
