Fishing

Fishing is the activity of trying to catch fish in the water. People use a rod and line, which is a long stick with a line attached to the end and a hook that holds bait. The bait attracts the fish, and when a fish takes the bait and gets caught on the hook, you reel in the fish with the rod. Different kinds of bait and different kinds of rods can be used for different kinds of fish. Fishing is a fun activity that can take place both in the ocean and in fresh water.
