Fishing net

Okay kiddo, so a fishing net is like a big spider web that goes under the water. Fishermen use it to catch lots of fish at once. The net is made with a bunch of strings that are tied together to make a big square or a big circle.

When the fishermen are ready to catch fish, they put the net into the water and move it around until lots of fish swim into it. Then, they quickly pull the net out of the water and all the fish that were inside the net are caught!

Sometimes, the fishermen don't want to keep all the fish they catch. So, they carefully take the fish out of the net and put them back in the water.

Fishing nets help fishermen catch fish a lot faster and easier than using just one fishing line. But, it's important to use fishing nets responsibly and not catch too many fish at once because we want to make sure there are still plenty left for us to catch tomorrow!
