ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Fist bump

Hi there kiddo! Have you ever seen grown-ups bump their fists together instead of giving each other a high five or a handshake? That's called a fist bump!

It's a way for people to say "hello" or "good job" to each other without touching each other's hands. Plus, it's a lot quicker and more hygienic than shaking hands because fists are less likely to have germs on them.

To do a fist bump, you make a tight fist with your hand and then gently tap it against someone else's fist. You can do it with friends, family members, or even new people you meet.

So there you have it - fist bumping is just a fun and easy way for people to greet each other, show appreciation, and keep their hands clean!
