Flag of Denmark

The flag of Denmark is a red rectangle with a white cross that goes from end to end, making four sections. It looks like a big plus sign.

So, imagine you have a big rectangle of red paper. Now, fold a white strip of paper in half and cut it so that you have two long strips. Take one of these strips and put it on top of the red paper so that it goes straight down the middle. Now, take the second strip and put it on top of the first strip so that it goes straight across the middle. You should now have a red rectangle with a white cross. This is basically what the flag of Denmark looks like!

The red on the flag represents bravery, strength, and courage. The white cross represents the Christian religion, which is the most popular religion in Denmark.

The flag of Denmark has been around for over 800 years! It's a really important symbol for the country and its people.
