ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Flagship (broadcasting)

When a TV or radio station is called a "flagship," it means that it's the very important or the main one in a group of stations. It's like the leader or the boss station that the others look up to. So, if there are a bunch of stations owned by the same company, or if there's a big TV network with lots of different channels, one station is usually considered the flagship of the group. So, if you're watching a show or listening to music on that station, it's kind of like you're at the "headquarters" of all the other stations. It's like being at the biggest, most important, most popular place in the group.
