Flame cleaning

Flame cleaning is like brushing your teeth, but for metal things. You know how you use a toothbrush and toothpaste to clean your teeth and make them nice and shiny? Well, flame cleaning is kind of like that, but instead of a toothbrush, we use flames to clean metal things.

So, let's say you have a dirty metal tool like a hammer or a screwdriver. It's covered in dirt and grime and it doesn't look very nice. Flame cleaning is a way to clean that tool and make it look brand new again.

The first step is to heat up the metal with a flame. This might sound scary, but it's actually a very controlled process. We use special tools like blowtorches or other gas burners to apply heat to the metal. This heat makes the dirt and grime on the tool loosen up and start to burn away.

As the dirt burns away, it releases smoke and fumes. That's why it's really important to do this in a well-ventilated area or outside. You don't want to breathe in all those fumes!

Once the flame has done its job and removed all the dirt and grime, we let the metal cool down. Then we can use a wire brush or other tools to remove any remaining debris or residue.

After the metal has been flame cleaned, it should look shiny and new again. It's a great way to get rid of built-up crud and give your metal tools and objects a fresh start.
