Flaugnarde

A flaugnarde is a yummy dessert that comes from France. It's kind of like a cake, but it's made with lots of fruit and a creamy, custard-like batter.

Imagine you're making a cake, but instead of just mixing the ingredients together and pouring it into a cake pan, you first spread a layer of fruit like apples, berries, or cherries on the bottom of the pan. Then, you mix together eggs, milk, sugar, and flour to make a liquid batter. You pour this batter over the fruit and bake everything in the oven until it's all golden and bubbly.

When it's done, you take it out of the oven and let it cool down. Then, you can slice it up and serve it with a dollop of whipped cream or a sprinkle of powdered sugar on top. It's a sweet and delicious dessert that's perfect for any occasion!
