Flavor text

Flavor text is like the toys in your toy box. Sometimes they don't do anything special, but they have little details that can make them more fun to play with. In the same way, flavor text is the words written on cards in games that don't change what the card does, but can make it more interesting or help tell a story. Imagine if your toy car had a little sign that said "Just married" on the back. That might not change how the car goes, but it adds a funny detail that makes it more fun to play with. Similarly, flavor text can add little jokes or explanations to game cards that make them more enjoyable.
