Flemish Region

Okay kiddo, so you know how there are different parts of Belgium, right? Well, one of those parts is called the Flemish Region.

Now, the Flemish Region is where people speak a language called Flemish or sometimes called Dutch. This language is similar to the Dutch spoken in the Netherlands but has some differences too.

The Flemish Region has its own government, which is responsible for things like education, social welfare, and culture for the people who live there.

Some of the cities you might have heard of in the Flemish Region are Antwerp, Ghent, and Bruges. These cities are known for their beautiful architecture, delicious food, and rich history.

So, basically, the Flemish Region is a part of Belgium where people speak Flemish, have their own government, and some really cool cities to visit!
