Flight distance record
You know how you like throwing a paper airplane and seeing it fly through the air? Well, some people make really BIG airplanes that can carry people and go really far! These planes use special engines and fuel to go really fast and really far.
Sometimes, people try to see how far they can make their airplane go, just like how you try to throw your paper airplane as far as you can. They call this the flight distance record.
To set this record, people have to build a special airplane that can go really far. They have to fill it with enough fuel to keep it in the air for a long time. Then, they take off from the ground and start flying. They have to keep flying until they reach a certain point far away, and then turn around and come back.
The person who flies the farthest distance (going out AND coming back) wins the record! It's like having the longest paper airplane flight, but with a really big airplane!
