Flight operations quality assurance

Flight operations quality assurance is like wearing a seatbelt in the car when you go on a trip. It helps keep you safe and helps the pilot be a better driver.

When a pilot flies an airplane, there are a lot of things they need to do to make sure everyone stays safe. They have to follow rules, use special equipment, pay attention to the weather, and communicate with other people. Flight operations quality assurance is a way to make sure that the pilot did all those things the right way.

Sometimes, people who work for the airline or airport watch the pilot as they are flying. They take notes and make sure the pilot is doing everything they are supposed to. They watch how the pilot uses the equipment, how they talk to other people, and if they follow the rules.

After the flight is over, the people who were watching the pilot look at their notes and figure out if the pilot did everything the right way. If there were things that could have been done better, they talk to the pilot and help them learn how to improve.

Just like the seatbelt helps keep you safe in a car, flight operations quality assurance helps keep everyone safe in an airplane. By making sure that the pilot is doing everything the right way, it helps make air travel even safer.
