Mormonism is a religion founded by Joseph Smith in the 1800s. It is based around The Book of Mormon, which Smith said he found when he was looking for ancient writings. In the Book of Mormon, it tells the story of a group of people called the Nephites who were guided by God. It also sets out teachings and beliefs that Mormons follow. Mormons believe that God continues to communicate with us through prophets, and that families can be together forever. Mormons also believe that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world and that living a good, moral life brings blessings.
