ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Brighamite

Brighamite is a term used to describe members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church), which was founded in 1830 by Joseph Smith. This church is sometimes referred to as the Mormon Church because its members often follow the teachings of the Book of Mormon. Brighamites are people who believe that the LDS Church is the only true expression of the gospel of Jesus Christ and follow the leadership and teachings of the Church's current prophet, President Russell M. Nelson. Brighamites strive to keep the commandments and stay true to the faith.
