Fluorine absorption dating

Fluorine absorption dating is a way to figure out how old something is. It works by looking at the amount of fluorine that has built up in an object over time. The longer something has been around, the more fluorine it will have absorbed from the environment around it. To figure out how old something is, scientists measure the amount of fluorine in the object and compare it to the amount that would have been in the environment when the object was first made. That way, they can figure out how much time has passed.
