Folk theorem (game theory)

Game theory is a way of understanding how people make decisions. The folk theorem is a game theory idea that says that no matter what a group of people decide to do in a situation, they will all be able to get a fair and equal outcome. This means that, even if each person in the group tries to do something different, they will all end up with the same result. Think of it like a game of rock-paper-scissors: no matter who wins the game, each person will still be able to walk away feeling like they won.
