Food price crisis

The food price crisis is when the cost of food goes up suddenly and stays high for a long time. This is usually caused by plants or animals giving less food than usual, or bad weather that makes it harder to grow food. When food prices go up, it's harder for people to buy enough food to eat and stay healthy.
