Forced induction

Okay kiddo, so you know how when you blow air into a balloon, it gets bigger and fills up faster than if you just blew it up with your mouth? That's kind of how forced induction works for cars.

In a regular car, the engine takes in air from the outside to mix with fuel and create power. But in a forced induction car, they use something called a "turbocharger" or a "supercharger" to force more air into the engine. It's kind of like blowing air into the engine really hard to make it go faster.

When you have more air in the engine, it burns the fuel more efficiently and creates more power. Kind of like when you add more sugar to your cereal and it tastes better and gives you more energy.

This can be really helpful for making a car go faster, but it also means the engine is working harder and can sometimes need more maintenance. So it's important to make sure the car is designed to handle forced induction properly.

But that's the basic idea, kiddo. Forced induction is just a way to make a car go faster by forcing more air into the engine.
