Foreign forced labor in the Soviet Union

Okay kiddo, so do you know what work is? It's when people do things to earn money so they can buy things they need and want.

But some bad people in the Soviet Union didn't want to pay workers, so they forced people from other countries to come and work for them. This kind of work is called foreign forced labor.

The people who were forced to work came from different countries like China, North Korea, Poland, and many others. They were often tricked into coming to the Soviet Union with false promises of good jobs and better lives.

But when they arrived, they were forced to work in terrible conditions, with little or no pay, and they were not allowed to leave. They worked in factories, mines, forests, and farms, doing hard manual labor for long hours without break.

The Soviet Union leaders didn't care about them or their lives. They treated them very badly and didn't give them proper food, shelter, or medical care. The workers were also not allowed to speak their own languages or practice their own religions.

This kind of forced labor is very wrong and violates people's basic human rights. It's important to treat everyone fairly and with respect, and not force them to do anything they don't want to do.
