Forensic materials engineering

Forensic Materials Engineering is like a detective game for grown-ups. In this game, engineers look closely at objects and materials to figure out what happened when something bad happened (like a car crash, a fall from a building, etc.). The engineers use special tools and scientific knowledge to look closely at the objects and materials, to try and figure out why the bad thing happened. In this way, they help figure out what went wrong, so that it can be fixed.
