Form and content

Form and content are the two main ideas used to discuss any type of artwork. The form is the shape or structure of the artwork and the content is what the artwork is about. An example of this is a book. The form of the book is the physical printed pages and binding. The content is the words, sentences, and story that are written on the pages.
