Hey kiddo! Have you heard of Indian reservations in Oklahoma? They are places where Native Americans used to live a long time ago. But now, they are called former Indian reservations because people don't live there anymore.
You see, a long time ago, the United States government made a deal with Native American tribes to give them land where they could live and be their own bosses. They called this land reservation. But later on, the government wanted this land for themselves, so they made the Native Americans leave and forced them to move somewhere else. This was not a nice thing to do, but unfortunately, it happened.
Nowadays, some of these former Indian reservations in Oklahoma are used for different purposes. Sometimes people use the land for agriculture or ranching. Sometimes there are museums or parks there where people can learn about the Native American history and culture. But even though people don't live on these former reservations anymore, they are still an important part of Oklahoma's past and the Native American heritage.
