Four-vector

A four-vector is like a regular vector, except it has four numbers instead of three. A vector is a quantity which has both a direction (like up or down) and magnitude (how big or small it is). The numbers in a four-vector tell us the magnitude (or size) of the vector in four different directions. This helps us understand how something is moving in space and time.
