Fourteener

A fourteener is a special kind of mountain that is at least 14,000 feet tall. That's really, really high up in the sky! People like to climb these mountains to see the beautiful views and to challenge themselves. It's like climbing up a really tall ladder, but much harder and more adventurous. There are over 50 fourteeners in the United States, and people from all over the world come to climb them. It takes a lot of preparation and hard work to climb a fourteener, but when you reach the top, you feel like a superhero!
