Franchising

Franchising is a way of doing business. It’s when a business owner (known as a “franchisee”) buys the right to use the name of a company (called a “franchisor”) and sell their products or services. The franchisor is like a big company that sets up the rules of how the franchisee should run their business. The franchisee is like a small business owner who follows the rules set by the franchisor and has the right to sell their products or services in exchange for a fee.
