Freeze distillation

Okay kiddo, have you ever seen ice cream being made? The milk and cream mixture is put in a big metal drum, and then they spin it around and around in a machine while it gets very very cold. This makes the mixture freeze and turn into ice cream!

Well, freeze distillation is kind of like that, but with alcohol instead of ice cream. When people make alcohol (like beer or wine), there's usually a lot of water mixed in with it. Water doesn't have alcohol in it, so it can make the alcohol weaker.

But if you make the alcohol really really cold, the water in it will freeze into ice. When that happens, it's like scooping out the water and leaving more alcohol behind. That makes the alcohol stronger!

So, freeze distillation is a way to make really strong alcohol by freezing out the water. But it's important to remember that alcohol can be dangerous if you drink too much of it, so always be careful and responsible.
